Vandalism hits Youth Sports
Donation protected
The Tarpon Springs youth league is asking for donations to replace and repair items which were destroyed by vandals. The youth league had to redirect fundraising money already collected for new jerseys and helmets to repair the vandalism to the pressbox. The Tarpon Springs for Youth, Inc. program is designed to introduce, teach, and develop the fundamentals of football and cheerleading to our local youth - as well as to promote good sportsmanship, teamwork and healthy competition. We feel this creates a valuable learning experience for the children of our community. The program also promotes self-esteem through teamwork.
Golf Cart - $5,000
Windows shattered or shot out - $200 a piece (5)
Graffitti all over walls - $1000
Variety of equipment - $3500
New Camera Equipment and lighting - $500
Tarpon Springs youth league is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, ran solely by volunteers from the community all money collected is used to benifit the kids in the organization, we will also happily be able to provide our tax ID number for those that request it.
