Tamara Lu Crawford's medical bills

As many of you may already know, I was diagnosed with stage 3C  ovarian cancer in June 2016. I have survived major abdominal surgery to remove all of the cancer and  endured 4 months of intense chemo therapy. The entire time I continued working in my alteration and clothing design business and had the support of many of my wonderful clients, friends,family and my loving husband. I have conquered this disease. My current CA-125 number is 67! From a high of 1275. Normal is 30 or under and I'm going to get there!  What you don't know is the devastating medical bills that are my responsibility. The medical insurance at the time of my diagnosis paid a very small fraction, if any $ at all of the costs.  The hospital bill alone was $125,000 and the insurance paid only $4800. John and I have exhausted our savings trying to pay as many of the bills as we could. John even went back to work to help pay the debt and provide me with good health insurance for my continued care and recovery.
