Taking Actions: Across the USA

The FBI reported that in 2010 they were over 7,600 offenses as a result of bias toward a particular race, religion, sexual orientation, ethnicity/national origin, or physical or mental disability. Of those crimes, 6,628 criminal incidents were brought to trial. That's a lot of hate.
If you are like me and can imagine a world without stereotypes and prejudice, and where we are all treated equally, then please read my message and, together, we can begin to change the world. This is my dream and I invite you to share it with me.
As a child and teenager, I endured bullying and persecution, and I lost friends as a result of hate crimes. Fulled by memories from my past and from current experiences, I have started a campaign called "Taking Actions" in October 2010. Taking Actions is growing and has become a very dynamic project, touching the lives of many. Its main purposes are to raise awareness and promote the powerful qualities of tolerance, respect, and equality, and to make a difference by showing kindness and encouraging people to care for one another.
I share my message of compassion through social networks and organizing "actions" at different locations. Many people have declared a commitment to Taking Actions and, together, we believe that we can shape the future by accepting people for who they are, not because of their race, ethnicity, sexual preference or religious beliefs.
I invite you to help bring Taking Actions across the nation by supporting my project "Across the USA". In May 2013, I am going to more than 30 cities in 14 states (DC, VA, NC, SC, GA, FL, AL, MS, LA, TX, NM, AZ, NV, and CA) to share my story and vision. Different actions have been designed to encourage people to take care of the environment, stand up for human rights, and eliminate prejudice, hate, and violence. Actions:
* General Action: Outreach, passing out promotional items.
* Kindness Action: Visiting a homeless shelter, nursing home, children's hospital, animal shelter.
* Love Action: Passing out candies and giving free hugs.
* Environment Action: Passing out green tips/facts, seeds and recyclable notepads.
* Peace Action: Silent action, displaying facts of acts of violence and honoring victims.
* Diversity Action: Celebrating cultural differences with world music and world trivia game with fun prizes.
* Equality Action: People will pose for pictures showing their support for equal rights.
While some may think I am naive for spending my own time, energy, and money on this campaign, I believe that if I can help open the mind of one person, then I can say I have been successful. I can do this work, but I need your help.
I am very happy to have already found supporters willing to provide places for me to stay during this journey, and some have also provided small donations. Despite my advance planning, I am still in need of assistance with sleeping accommodations, transportation (car rental and gas), merchandise and props.
Your contribution will have significant impact on how successful this will be and how many people we can reach. I believe that if we all take actions together, we will most definitely make a difference in our diverse society.
