Creative Writing Programs for Kids!

Our organization is called "Take My Word For It!". We engage kids in the art of creative writing through our after-school and community-based programs. We teach in the San Francisco Bay area as well as in northern Virginia.

Because of budget cuts to education, and the fact that the arts are the first thing on the chopping block, kids don't have much opportunity to use their imagination during the school day.
With the aim of providing a safe, supportive and inspiring environment for young writers, we are raising money to expand our program and reach more kids.
