Col's Handicap Accessible Bathroom

Hi Everyone! Thanks for taking the time to read this.  I am trying to raise money for my mom Colleen.  She was diagnosed with ALS a couple of years ago.  She is currently in IL and is moving to AZ to be near me in a couple weeks.  She purchased a new home but some renevations will need to be done to the bathroom so she will be able to use it.  
     As you can imagine things are very difficult for my mom and family right now.  My mom is doing well but the reality is her condition is getting worse.  It is more and more difficult for her to do things.  The ALS foundation out here will be getting her a new motorized chair when she gets here.  With that she will also need to get a new handicapped accessible van.  The ALS foundation is so helpful but there are still A LOT of expenses and it is very stressful on my mom.  She has not been able to work in years and when they move here my dad will be retiring so he can be her caretaker.  I decided to resign from my job as a teacher to become a substitute so I could spend more time with my mom and help my dad. 
     My mom is such an amazing, strong woman! I am so proud of her!  She has soooo many people out there who love her and care about her.  Many of our friends have asked me how they could help.  This is a great way to help.  If everyone just donated a couple dollars and shared this with all their friends I am confident we could reach our goal.  I am not sure the exact cost of the bathroom but I talked with a contractor and got this estimate.   Any leftover money will be used for her new van.
