Help Riley Pants to Prance Again!

Hello Friends! Thanks for visiting my recovery page! As my momma might have told you, I tore my ACL and meniscus last week when I was playing fetch at the park (my absolute favorite thing to do!).

I just returned from the hospital this evening after overnight surgery and I am settling in well with my new face framer (cone of shame), pantless-leg, and gnarly scar. All of the hospital staff said I was an absolutely wonderful patient and they are excited to track my recovery!

Fortunately for me, the surgery I received - tibial tuberosity advancement surgery (for those interested) -  is fairly routine for canines like me. Unfortunately for my mom, this surgery is fairly invasive (she worries about my pain) and VERY expensive ($3920.00).

I am writing today in desperation, as this surgery was completely unexpected and wildly expensive for my mom, the "Turtle Scientist". I know this is a lot to ask, but if you could donate even the littlest amount of money ($5, $10, $20) it would help my mom pay my medical bill.

Most people (this includes me!) think that spending this amount of money on a dog is crazy! But I also know that each and every one of you either has a dog of your own and/or has crossed paths with the amazing, prancing, squiggling, loving Riley. And that all of you know how important dogs are to family. They are family. Riley is one of the most important things in my life and I want nothing other than for him to be happy and healthy, because he keeps me happy and healthy :). He is only six, and has a lot more prancing and squiggling to do in his life!
