My name is Cynthia Gurin. I'm Managing Editor (pro-bono) of Bedtime-Story.com . We're ALL volunteers here.
No Registration is required to read the stories. No advertising is accepted. We've simply been promoting literacy and paying it forward since 1996.
Bedtime-Story has selected talented Authors and paired them with gifted Illustrators, each of whose works have been judged Whimsical, Magical, Adventurous, Humorous, or simply wonderfully Imaginative.
The criteria for a tale's inclusion on Bedtime-Story.com are that the story must be as pleasant for an adult to read as it is for a child to hear.
While many sites will accept and publish literally anything that's offered to them, Bedtime-Story chooses to accept only the works of those who write WELL.
Members of our editing team are available at no charge to work one on one with talented Authors and Illustrators.
The result is the stuff that pleasant dreams are made of.

Bedtime-Story has been able to avoid accepting advertising for the past nineteen (19) years by relying on the help of a special little teddy bear.
For every bear sold through the official AGBear website, 100% of the proceeds, less only warehouse rental and shipping, have been what has helped to keep Bedtime-Story running all these years. But now there are only so many bears left in the warehouse.
Bedtime-Story has won LOTS of awards and visitors truly like us. They actually like us a whole bunch. (Just read the Letters to Bedtime-Story page.)
All of us would REALLY like to be able to keep Bedtime-Story rolling without having to pollute the site's wonderful story pages with advertising.
Would you help us to accomplish that please?
A lot of busy business parents and about a zillion little kids would be ever so grateful. (So would our talented Authors and Illustrators.)
