It's Lemonade time! Allison and Sarah are setting up their annual lemonade stand this weekend and will have delicious lemonade and cookies!
Allison is 5 years old and is thrilled with the idea of going to Girl Scout camp in June. When she realized she had just $2 in her piggy bank, she asked how she would be able to get the rest of the money needed in order to go. With National Lemonade Day coming up, she knew she'd be able to be raise the money by making the best Lemonade this side of the Arkansas River! And 2 Chics Lemonade was born!
Little sister, Sarah, will be helping to serve lemonade and join in on the entrepreneurial spirit.
Proceeds from the sale will also benefit another child in the Tulsa area. We are partnering with James Mission (http://www.jamesmission.org/) to pay for a child in the foster system to go to swim lessons this summer. Each summer, there is the sad news of a child who drowned. If one child can be taught to swim then perhaps a life can be saved or even more if they are able to save someone else at some point in their life. James Mission will be assisting us with gifting a foster child in need.
