HELP NEPAL -Earthquake Relief Fund

Hello friends and family.
As we all know, the beautiful country of Nepal was struck by a powerful 7.9 magnitude earthquake on Saturday morning. Over 3,000 people have been reported dead, with figures steadily increasing, many injured, many missing and many trapped.
This disaster is extremely close to my heart as I only just returned from Nepal on April 10th. I set out to teach english in the city of Pokhara, about 200 km from the capital city, Kathmandu in February, 2015. I was fortunate enough to live with a local family, the Adhikaris, and teach english at Birendra Seconday School in the Malepatan district of Pokhara. I feel extremely blessed to have been able to have this experience, and even more blessed to have gotten to know the Nepali people.
If I came away from Nepal with anything, it was that the Nepali people, as a whole, are the most generous and compassionate people I have ever come in contact with. My hope for this fundraiser is to make sure the money raised goes directly into the hands of the people who need it most.
I am currently in contact with my host family and volunteer coordinator (Krishna Timilsina) in Pokhara, although communication is difficult due to the electricity problems after the earthquake. My goal is to be able to raise money and send it directly to the nepali people in need.
Any little bit counts, as clean mineral water is a mere 15 cents and a pack of noodles is 5 cents. Donations of as little as a dollar could provide an entire meal to a family in need.
