'Avenue Q' Guest Artist Fund

 June 11 & 12, 2015, Trainwreck Productions returns to Eronel Art + Music Venue to present the Tony Award-winning musical comedy Avenue Q!

This rated R, puppet-filled, laugh-out-loud musical tells the timeless story of a recent college grad named Princeton who moves into a shabby New York apartment all the way out on Avenue Q. Princeton and his new-found friends struggle to find jobs, dates, and their ever-elusive purpose in life. Filled with gut-busting humor and a delightfully catchy score, not to mention puppets, Avenue Q is a truly unique favorite for audiences everywhere. Although it addresses humorous adult issues, it is similar to a beloved children's show; a place where puppets are friends, Monsters are good, and life lessons are learned.

Trainwreck Productions is fortunate enough to perform with fantastic puppets from the University of Northern Iowa Department of Theatre.  What's more... our cast has also been offered the opportunity to train with puppetry expert, Mark A. Parrott, Assistant Professor of Theatre, UNI.

This is an excellent opportunity we would love to provide our cast, however, it narrowly exceeds our budget...

Funding that either does not meet or is in excess of our fundraising goal will be used to offset the cost of our puppets.

Performances are Thursday and Friday, June 11 & 12, 7 PM at Eronel Art + Music Venue, 285 Main St., Dubuque. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door.
