Help Send Medical Team to Nepal

This is a very short notice appeal to help raise funds to get a medical and rescue team to Nepal as soon as possible.  In fact I've been asked to leave Perth, Western Australia tomorrow night - 28th April.  As you know, a devastating 7.9 magnitude earthquake has struck Nepal, causing severe destruction and loss of life in Kathmandu and surrounding areas.  The people in these areas are still in desperate need of organised and qualified relief.

The team is organised by Backpacker Medics, a wholly volunteer and donation-based project which provides paramedic services alongside existing Nepalese organisations and authorities to to deliver mobile pre-hospital healthcare and community education.

This campaign is to raise enough money to get me, Nat Crewe, a return flight to Kathmandu and to cover some of the expenses while I'm there.

I've been a paramedic for almost a decade as well as being a qualified and experienced rescue techinician.  The team members being assembed at short notice have been chosen for their experience and skill, as well as their familiarity with the region.  

I would be incredibly grateful if you can get me out to where the help is needed most right now.

Any excess funds will be donated to the Backpacker Medics Earthquake Relief Fund
