April Kavanaugh is a dear friend of so many, a loving mother to 3 beautiful children, with a 4th on the way. On April 15, 2015, April's husband, David Kavanaugh, was in a terrible car accident

His injuries were severe and left him in a medically induced coma and paralysis for over a week. So many caring people came together to support April, David and their family. There was a GoFundMe set up to raise funds for David's medical expenses and other needs.
Thanks to all the support from people like you, reading this now, $5,000 was raised. Believe me, this is tremendously helpful and April is so incredibly grateful for all who donated, all who prayed, and all who supported her through this time of traveling between Kalamazoo (where David was in the hospital) and Lansing/Holt (where the Kavanaughs reside).

So many people have gratiously donated via the first GoFundMe account, and again, we're all so grateful for that, but as of April 25, 2015, David has passed away and gone to be with our Lord. So many people were hoping and praying that he would turn around from his injuries but God had other plans and this presently puts April in a very rough spot.
April has informed their children that their dad won't be with them anymore. He won't be there to meet their 4th child when April gives birth sometime very soon (in the next few days/weeks).

Unfortunatley, more funds will be needed as April deals with funeral costs, medical expenses, costs of having a newborn (as well as 3 other children), and normal household expenses. Myself as well as some of April and David's other friends decided to put this page together to raise more funds and awareness for the Kavanaugh family. They have an incredibly taxing road ahead of them and continue to need our help and support.
David and April were married for (approximately) 10 years, both served in the Navy, both attended church regulary, and are so very active in their children's lives.

Sorry this post is getting lengthy but honestly, I could continue to write for hours about this family and how much they've done to help others, it's hard to squeeze it into a reasonable length.
In short, April is literally one of the kindest, sweetest, bravest people I've ever met and is currently going through something that (in my opinion) no one should have to go through. Through all of this, April holds faith in God and continues to get up each day and do what needs to be done for her and her family.
If there is any way you could donate to help her in this time of need, anything would be greatly appreciated. Honestly, no amount is too small, even if it's not feasable for you to donate money, maybe at least keep this family in your thoughts and prayers.
