Mothers helping Mothers -
An Emergency need: A dear friend in Georgia has lost everything due to a robbery and financial losses due to the financial and legal abuse as she heads back to court. She has basic needs; food, and shelter.
As an advocate for mothers who have lost custody I regularly hear from mothers who have become homeless as they are fighting for their children.
Did you know that 40% of Homeless women experienced DV and or Custody Issues?
The stories are heartbreaking and I should know, I too have been fighting a battle in California Courts that seem endless as they work to marginalize, villianize and now criminalize mama.
Please help support a mother desperate to see her child.
Thank you for your support anything would help.
We will launch our Justice for Mama Campaign soon to address the inequity of the system that fails so many children and their protective mommies.

Last year Mothers of Lost Children was chosen to present at the http://mommuseum.org/cfp-mom-conference-2015/ and we couldn't be more excited to have this opportunity to tell our stories.
I have been working with a dedicated group of mothers and advocates to bring attention to the family court crisis and justice issues mothers face when they leave dangerous homes and report abuse. For many years I have fought for my parental rights and the rights of my child to have contact with her nurturing mother, to no avail. Be it the failures of courts to understand DV by proxy or other cultural and political issues or perverse fatherhood funding. I have been stalked, beaten, my rights violated. As a mandated reporter I was shocked by what happened after I reported abuse in good faith, I was fired, and went on trial. I would eventually lose custody, go on supervised contact and ordered no contact with my little girl. The court violated my constitutional rights and failed to listen to my daughter. In the mean time my child is growing up Motherless, legally kidnapped. It is reported that 58,000 children a year are becoming Motherless in America , trafficked through family courts.
We are concerned about the adverse childhood experiences that are known to last a lifetime and cause tragic public health risks. http://mothersoflostchildren.org/cdcs-ace-studybraintraumaviolence-in-childhood/adverse-childhood-experiences-study-aces-too-high/
We intend to tell our story at the Mom's museum Conference and bring our Art and pictures of: What happens when Mama reported Abuse -Why Mother's are Marching, and this Motherless Child in America.
In our research we have discovered that this is one of the most pressing Social Justice issues of our time. It's a national crisis, and its time that other mothers wake up to these crimes committed against our nations children, created by dangerous gender bias policies funded by our tax dollars, before its too late.
Did you know that fatherhood.gov is a 50 Billion Dollar Program? Help us address these dangerous programs-

Where's our Motherhood.gov?
Mothers are continuing to participate in this project and this year we are bringing to the Battered Mothers Custody Conference. Please go to Mothers of Lost Children to see this sample-
