Surviving After A Fire

I'm honestly not sure where to start.  I keep trying then crying then trying again- So I'll cut right to it.

Last night was truly the most tramatic experience my family has experienced.  We were given the call that our family's home was on fire.  At that moment we were able to feel blessed to know every one made it out safe, even the fur babies- AND almost all the bedrooms were not harmed... 

Roughly an hour after everyone was some where safe and trying to take it all in we recieved a phone call that the house had caught back on fire.  This time was much different- the flames covered the entire house and were higher than the trees.

Two families worth of memories, family heirlooms, clothes, pictures, necessities- anything and everything that could possibly be in someone's home or life is gone.

While I can go on and on about all the baby blankets, pictures, sentimental family objects and memories- there is still the loss of all the basics.  There is no hair brush to brush their hair, no coats for cold days, no tooth paste, hair ties, socks, food, undergarnments, makeup, prescription medications, etc any longer- all those simple things we take for granted.

I set this up to make it easier for my family to get back on their feet, to at least to give them a stepping stone.

Anything and everything is helpful- even just a dollar can and will help.  Everyone involved in this horrific tragidy are such good people and definitely did not deserve such a loss.

We are strong and will prevail.  Please remember to hug your loved ones and never take for granted all the little things.
