Andrew Mount Support Fund!

Andrew Mount is a social entrepreneur who lives in the rogue valley in Oregon.

As any who know him will attest (and this video is primarily aimed at you!) - he is a kind, generous and considerate man.

His passion and energy for social and environmental justice is unbounded, as is his light hearted yet deeply spiritual approach to life.

Like a lot of creative people he’s at times prone to forget to look after himself and that’s why I made this ‘gofundme.com’ project for his benefit.

The last time I saw Andrew was just in passing and he was kindly assisting a complete stranger in a grocery store parking lot, returning their cart to save them a trip. He was his usual upbeat self - and that’s how I want him to be next time I meet him - the world needs Andrew Mount free of the burden of stress and able to communicate with the world and continue his important work.

Sadly the Universe likes to test us sometimes and, in the same week that Andrew finds himself short on his rent - both his phone and laptop have given up and died on him!
A self directed, self employed social entrepreneur has hit a couple of hurdles - but he’s not down and he’s not out! I’d like to keep it that way and I need your help!

Andrew reached out to me for help, and I felt bad that I wasn’t able to lend or give him what he needs. If I could I would. Then, it struck me! Lots of people know and love Andrew, and if they knew he needed help I know they would be willing to make a contribution to assist him! That’s what friends and community do, help each other - support each other.

I asked him if he minded if I shared his time of need with friends, and while I don’t think he expected this, he said that he didn’t - which I deeply respect, as too often we get stuck in pride or shame. But Andrew is willing to receive help.

Any and all funds raised here (minus the fees that gofundme.com and the payment processor take) will be given to Andrew Mount. The nature of these fee structures makes larger donations more valuable than small - so, if you can spare two dollars rather than one, do it! $20 rather than $10, send it!

Andrew’s targets are $300 for a phone replacement, $250 to fix his laptop, and $500 to catch up on his rent. I added a bit extra to the target to cover the fees, that said - if the “target” has been reached don’t let that stop you making a donation if you feel so inclined. There’s no ceiling, and I’m sure any extra raised will be put to good use by Andrew as he builds his business, builds community, and supports his family!

Please! Help me do for Andrew what I could not do alone. Let us each contribute a little, so that together we can make a whole lot of difference and get Andrew back on track!
