The Historic Tappen Park Community Partnership (HTCP) is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit organization, formed for the purpose of promoting positive community arts, cultural and educational programs and events within the Stapleton community and surrounding neighborhoods, including St. George and Tompkinsville.

Tappen Park is the beautiful centerpiece that sits in the historic town square of Stapleton. It is second oldest public park in Staten Island.
Become a part of a wider network of community groups and stakeholders that will work in concert for the betterment of Stapleton, the North Shore, and greater Staten Island. HTCP’s community initiatives encourage strategic partnerships, connectivity and symbiotic relationships that advocate smart growth, while preserving the rich history of our existing communities.
The Historic Tappen Park Community Partnership is launching its "gift of $25" campaign to help raise money to keep Tappen Park green with plants & trees, and active with positive community arts, cultural and educational events. We invite you to help in our mission to guide and promote the responsible redevelopment of our community’s future!
Here's what a simple gift of $25 can do...
$25 can purchase a plant for our bi-annual event
"It's My Park Day!" and other seasonal planting programs.
The Historic Tappen Park Community Partnership is still in the process of replacing many of the plants & trees destroyed as a result of Hurricane Sandy.
$25 can purchase (4) pumpkins for our annual Fall Festival/Oktoberfest. Over 350 pumpkins are given out for FREE to the kids in our community each year!
$25 can purchase (4) jump ropes and 5 boxes of street chalk for outdoor activities!
