SUPPORT FOR ICE DANCE COUPLE
About us –
I’m Erin Gillies. I am 18yrs old from Barrie, Ontario, Canada.
I’m Joshua Tarry. I am 18yrs old from Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, Great Britain.
We are hoping you would consider supporting us in our journey to represent Great Britain.
Erin started skating age 4 at The Innisfil School of Skating in Ontario.
Joshua started skating age 9 at Lammas Ice Skating Rink in Sutton in Ashfield, he was then selected to join the prestigious Torvill and Dean Dance Academy at Nottingham Ice Centre.
We have competed in many competitions in Canada, the UK & internationally. Joshua has a British Champion title in Ice Dance.
We have just competed in our first British qualifying competition, gaining third place and being selected to represent GB in a Junior Grand Prix competition in Riga.

About the support –
We are very proud to represent our countries.
This year we will be representing Great Britain.
Unfortunately, there is no funding available from the governing body until Olympic level.
No funding from the governing body, or major sponsorships for figure skating means very little ice time for training in the UK.
We train in Canada at the acclaimed Mariposa School of Skating.
The cost for training and competitions is expensive and we are hoping to find a sponsor for continued help.
We have proven we will be successful as a dance couple by gaining placement at The Canadian National Championships within our first season together.
We have achieved a Junior Grand Prix placement at our first GB competition.
