Our Angel Parker
I have created this for a friend who is going through the unimaginable. Her (Kayla) and her loving husband (Carl) were 30 weeks pregnant when a normal day turned into a nightmare. Kayla headed off to work Tuesday April 21,2015, just like every normal morning, feeling the movement of her unborn child and reminissing with her husband how blessed they were. Nothing out of the ordinary had happened during this shift, but it came to Kayla's attention, after work, she couldn't feel any movement and kick counts were absent. She drank cold water, ate some sweet foods, and still nothing. Getting worried, Kayla knew she had to go to the Paynesville ER. The staff could not find a heart beat, even after completing an ultra sound . . . . .
time stood still . . . . All of Kayla and Carl's dreams of having a little boy was dramatically taken away from them without explanation or reasoning. They were advised to try to get some rest and make their way to St. Cloud Hosp. the following mornig. Kayla was induced Wed. April 22, 2015 10:00 a.m. After twenty four hours of labor~ Parker Leo Thelen~ 2lbs. 15oz. 14.5inches, was born into eternal life April 23, 2105 Parker was baptised and read his final rights at the St. Cloud Hosp. where precious pictures were taken. Kayla and Carl, along with family, took their turn holding Parker in their arms knowing this would be the only day they'd be able to have the chance. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at St. Martin's Catholic church. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m. Wed. April 29, 2015 at the St. Martin Parish Hall. Burial will be private.
~Like most parents, Kayla and Carl, both fulltime workers, spent their money preparring for a new baby. The outcome of Parker's passing has brought forth an abundant amount of unexpected costs. Kayla and Carl also have a little three year old girl to think about and take care of, who is currently and always has been the light of their life.
