These are the sample vedios showing real present situation of the Indian farmer.
Heavy downpours and droughts have been wiping out crops results in increasing debts leaving many farmers feeling that there's no other way out.
Every 30 minute one farmer commits suicide.In year 2014 almost 2500 farmers ended thier lives.
Most affected farmers are in the vidarbha region of Maharashtra,India where I brought up.Now I can't see them suffering any more for a glass of milk for thier children, begging for small amount of money to servive.
I need your help to provide basic needs for thier families .
This is the picture of a family going through very hard times from Marda village of Maharashtra,IN.
I personaly visited them last year and my father and uncle are visiting them directly , discussing the issues and trying to help .We have also made some donations.
Our first target is village of Marda ,Taluka Rajura ,Dist. Chandrapur.
We found few families who has no way of servival ,thier lands are infertile,family members has illnesses and children needs to go far for schooling .
This home belongs to one farmer whoes already unfertile land failed to give any returns due to lack of rain this year.
Even a help of $5 will help them servive for several days.
The monsoon does have a very real impact on agriculture. But it is by no means the main reason for the farm suicides. Suicides occurring amongst cash crop farmers, the issues of debt, hyper-commercialization, exploding input costs, water-use patterns, and severe price shocks and price volatility, come much more to the fore.
As soon as we start getting more funds we have target to stop each and every farmer from ending the life.
We are planning to offer them some free medical check-up,seminars on stress management as well as want to educate about more cost effective organic farming in coming future.
