Deborah Shorter is a survivor who some said only had a few months to live - that was in 2009. She has beaten her cancer ever since. In 2009 a lung cancer spread to her brain and was removed surgically. She has beaten the odds to stay here with her loving and supportive family - all with good function.

Now her tumor is back in two spots in her brain!  She has Medicaid, but the government insurance program does not pay for the best treatment that can add years to her life: Stereotactic Brain Radiation with Cyberknife .   Brain surgery to remove the tumor would be far more dangerous and is not the best option. Medicaid won't pay, but you can help.  Doctors in St. Petersburg Florida have agreed to treat her for a discounted cash price. 

Please help her raise the funds today. Donations will be made to the Pinellas Medical Foundation headed by Brain Surgeon Dr. David McKalip, her doctor.  100% of those raised funds will go to pay for Deborah's medical bills that Medicaid won't cover.
