Jens Wair is a talented footballer and cricketer from Colchester in Essex.
On his 30th birthday, Jens went out to celebrate with friends and never made it home.
Jens was attacked so savagely that he has been in a coma since, and was not expected to survive. His family were told he would have severe brain damage for the rest of his life.
He's started to wake from his coma now, and the prognosis looks better than expected, but there's a long road ahead, so here's our chance to make that journey a little less arduous for Jens.
With no access to earnings, (Jens is self-employed), and to aid his ongoing rehabilitation, please give as much as you can, or want.
