Spunk's Cancer Fund

A few weeks ago my dog Spunk developed a cancerous tumor. We visited a specialist who informed us that it appears to be thyroid cancer. The specialist encouraged us to get Spunk into surgery to remove the tumor as soon as possible. Unfortunately I was not able to schedule an appointment because I couldn't afford the cost. I am reaching out for help from anyone who can spare any amount in order to get Spunk into surgery. Without surgery this cancer could spread very quickly, and because of the tumor's location it is likely Spunk's airway and throat could become blocked. We are hoping to be able to have the funds within a month tops in order to avoid growth and spread.

On a more personal note, Spunk's life means more to me than I can even begin to describe. It is a cliche, but he is truly my best friend. Spunk has been in my life for 8 years. I was there at the time of his birth, I was 19 years old. I was at a very low point in my life, but when I saw that little puppy a felt lighter and I knew everything was going to be okay. I brought Spunk home with me 6 weeks later. He has always been there for me. He has licked away countless tears from my face. He keeps my feet warm at night. He greets me when I come home as if he hasn't seen me in weeks. He watches movies and eats popcorn with me. He listens as I read my favorite novels to him. I just cannot imagine my life without him. I know he has to go one day, but it's just too soon right now. Spunk has a lot of life left in him and he deserves to live it. I'm not ready to let go, so I'm begging you to please help us. I will be forever grateful!
