Hi there! My name is Jazmine and I am a junior at Kennesaw State University. I am a pscyhology major pursuring a career as a children's therapist. To describe my personality in one world I would say I am a compassionate goofball. Ok ok..You got me. I know a cheated there by using two words but they fit me so well! I'm compassionate because I truly care about the well being of others. I am willing to help anyone even if I know it will probably hurt me in some fashion. I'm a goofball because I'm always craking jokes. I like to see people smile. "Goofball-ness" just comes natural to me :)

The Important Stuff...so here it goes
So here it goes guys. Im pretty sure everyone has aspirations to travel. I just want to make my dream to travel come true. I have a chance to take part in Kennesaw State University's international exchange program. How it works is I would pay the tuition, fees, housing, and meals for a student overseas whose dream is to come to America. They would be taking my spot at KSU while I take their spot at a university in Spain. Crazy right? But very possible. If I get to go, not only will I be taking classes geared towards my major, I will be volunteering at any children's program (daycare, after school, tutor, etc.). My goal is to become a children's therapist so working with kids in anyway is my passion. Why am I telling you all this? Because I need your help. The program is pretty darn expensive. My job and scholarships will not cover it all. I rarely ask for help with anything to anyone, but this opportunity is too beneficial and amazing to not get the word out. The penny you find under your couch or that extra dollar you save for that little snack from the vending machine would truly help me get to my goal. Anything would help. If you made it this far in my rambling I thank you. I would truly be grateful :)

I won't stop at anything until my goal is reached. At the end of the day, I know it is all worth it. Life is too short to give up your dreams. Me being enthralled with poetry and quotes, I saw a quote that said "create a life you don't need a vacation from". How true is that? I want a life where I can embrace a different culture and see the world with my own eyes and not through a t.v screen or someone else's pictures. I'm asking you all to please help me on my journey. Ever penny will help.
