Special Citizens is committed to the development and delivery of a comprehensive, integrated system of services, which has as its primary purpose the promotion and attainment of independence, inclusion, individuality and productivity for adults and children with Autism.
Special Citizens is kicking off their Sing for Autism Challenge where we are asking people to challenge their friends to sing a song and post themselves singing on their social media accounts! Here is how it works:
1. Nominate three people through social media or otherwise and pick a song for them to sing.
2. The three people nominated will take a video of themselves singing (up to 30 seconds) the song of the nominator's choice. Please use #SingforAutism when posting to help us go viral and tag Special Citizens as well by clicking here!
3. The people that sing will then nominate three more people to sing until the challenge becomes viral.
4. The money raised will go towards supporting adults and children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, which includes housing, vocational training, recreation and clinical services. (Suggested $25 donation)
Special Citizens has a workforce of over 200 employees supporting over 300 people with Autism Spectrum Disorders throughout New York City, The Bronx and Westchester County.
