Within the next year, I am launching a pilot project of a gardening and food skills curriculum that hopes to reduce recidivism and build leadership among incarcerated and previously incarcerated individuals. I want to share the impact of this project with a broad audience and will use photography to tell the story of this work.
I am in need of photography equipment to make this happen and need your help to raise funds so I can secure equipment.
Too many of our youth and adults become lost to a prison system that psychologically, emotionally, and financially destroys individuals, families, and communities. The effects ripple out and the work ahead is significant, but we can make a change. Your donation will support that change.

In 2013, I conducted a photography project with formerly incarcerated youth involved in programming (poetry, job-training, and gardening) with New Earth , a Los Angeles, CA based organization.
In 2012, I conducted aphotography project with members of the Transitional Empolyment Program, a job-training program for previously incarcerated men run by the Haley House Bakery Cafe in Boston, MA.
