Susan's World Race Fund :)
Hello! My name is Susan Perry. Starting in the end of June 2015, I will be embarking on the adventure of a lifetime. I will be traveling to 11 countries in 11 months to share the best news that anyone in this world could ever hope for--that Jesus came to earth as both man and God, died on the cross for our sins, and rose from the dead to restore our relationship with our Heavenly Father.
I will be traveling to China, Phillipines, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Uganda, Rwanda, Ethiopia, Romania, Serbia, and Albania with a group of around 40 young adults. In each country, we will partner with local ministries and do whatever it takes to proclaim the Gospel and love those around us as Christ does.
We will be living out of backpacks and tents as we exchange our comforts for living as most of the world does.
We won't know what each month holds until we arrive in that nation.
Traveling on a journey like this has been the hope and dream of my heart since I was a young girl. These dreams are finally coming true!
However, I need your help! I've experienced God's faithfulness in HUGE ways as I've been preparing for this trip. I want to leave the country without the worry of "how will this extra money come up without having an income?".
I'm setting up this gofundme account to raise support for "extra" things related to this journey:
*Student loan payments while I am away (bills don't wait!) NOTE: I have already raised a portion of this needed amount,
*Preventative malaria medication (not covered by my health insurance, but a very important precaution to take)
*Personal spending money (for example, when I run out of toothpaste or have to pay to use a public bathroom)
*The final bit of gear (mostly camping) that I have yet to purchase
