Hey folks! Happy Pride! I am a transgender man, living in Cincinnati, OH. I am raising money for my top surgery during pride month. Most folks don't even know that I'm trans, let alone that I'm pre top surgery. I know that I am lucky that my chest doesn't out me, but it affects me on a daily basis, in a way that is honestly, hard to talk about.
I work full time, I'm a father and a husband. My days are full of work and keeping a home, and I love it! Though, it has been hard to stomach that I don't have any funds left over to put aside towards top surgery. However, my family's needs are my top priority. Our insurance won't cover it and my family is unsupportive. I'm turning 30 this year and I'm more than ready to leave the past, in the past.
It would mean the world to me if anyone contributes. I believe in the power of community and I am prepared to pay it forward in the future. Some days, like Pride, I am so proud of my body. I lift weights and I am learning to be kinder to my body. Other days, it's not so easy. Please help me make every day, like Pride!
