Skylar Transition Fund

Hi there! My name is Skylar! I'm a 22 year old transman from Michigan. As many of you know I am curretly undergoing my gender transition. Although I have managed to pay for hormones and doctors visits alone up to this point, I'm now in dire need of help from the general public to help with the cost of the remainder of my transition: which includes both top surgery and a legal name change. Although I receive some help and support through family members the amount of money I need to save for both of these services is more than I could ever expect from them, and so now I am reaching out to the public who show kindness in another's time of need. The amouth of money listed above will not only cover the insurance co-pay for the top surgery I require, but also cover traveling expenses, lawyer costs, and my entire legal name change process: potentially putting me in a position where all of the gender dysphoria I experience will diminish. 
The state of Michigan requires surgery to legally change your gender marker, making the process of becoming the man I need to be even harder.  The constant struggle of being publicly misgendered or questioned by people around me makes even daily life or leaving the house questionable. Although I currently take testosterone (which greatly helps with my current dysphoria) the legal name change and top surgery will be the biggest relief of my entire life. 
Everything donated to me will go directly into helping me transition. From the amount of support I have received - even from strangers, I am amazed. I am so close to being the man I know I am, this small amount of money is what separates me from being truly happy.
