The Big "Until-The-Wheels-Fall-Off-Tour"
Never before has an undertaking like this been done – a 30 thousand mile journey through the Americas: 18 countries in 8 months while filming 18 videos featuring BMX riders from the entire continent. This once-in-a-lifetime filming adventure is a project that no BMX rider or videographer has ever attempted to document. The plan is to complete this mission in 8 months, documenting the life and local culture of the riding communities in each location we visit. In traveling to this many different places and encountering distinct cultural environments; we are confident that the result will be more profound and gratifying than any other BMX chronicle ever made. Our hope is that these videos will inspire future generations to discover new opportunities, to develop trust and confidence in themselves, to stand up for their individual talents and wishes, and—finally—to make their dreams come true. This is exactly the influence that BMX has had in our lives, now we want to give back to the sport that's given so much to us! BMX has been my passion for 18 years now. It saved my life as a young adult by keeping me off the streets and enabling me to do something meaningful with my life. One of my biggest dreams is to give back to the BMX community and give others the chance to be seen and recognized. Photographer and videographer Dani Kralik and I are setting out on this journey to meet other riders whose lives have been turned around through BMX, to find out about their lives and why BMX is so important to them, and to showcase their talents on film. Collaborating with Dani is the key to this project - him being a videographer who understands BMX thoroughly and brings out the best in riders.

My intense love of extreme sports (and partly my ego) has brought the whole photography craze into my life. I bought a camera in 1999 so my friends could take quality pictures of me doing bow legged table tops on my bike. With BMX came snowboarding. Then nature hit me hard, so I started surfing and, after I just grew older, friendships became more serious and traveling became a passion. It was at this point that I traded my life in front of the camera for a chance to become a master behind it. I organize events, direct sport and motion related movies and commercials. Sometimes I just run around with a steadicam. I also love slow motion. I love the fact that it has the ability to show how detailed one movement can be. From ‘99 onwards, I have come to feel the artist in myself. Earlier I found that there was no cheesier thing than to call myself an artist... nowadays I kind of love it. It's freedom from all aspects. If you want me to tell you who I am in one sentence: I am a BMX lover from Budapest, Hungary.
The Plan
On July 25th, we will depart from Washington D.C., and head to Anchorage, Alaska. From there, our sights are set on Ushuaia, Argentina. We will embark on a journey by bus down the “longest motorable highway in the world,” the Pan-American Highway - the road that links nearly every mainland nation of the Americas. It spans both the continents of North and South America, connecting cities from North to South, from the forests of Alaska, through plains and deserts, into deep jungle, to the pampas of Argentina. Riders on this journey will be selected by myself, a local, and Dani and will be featured in an episode of “Until The Wheels Fall Off.”

Every 2 weeks we will upload a new video to Youtube. Thus, we are planning to make 18 videos during the entire period, and to hold a photo exhibition in NYC when the trip is over.
I wholeheartedly hope you will support us as we undertake this massive journey — it will be grueling, exhilarating, no doubt sometimes frustrating, and possibly dangerous. We will share it all with you, but; we need your help to make this happen!!! The way we plan to cut costs is to only travel by land, and to stay with local riders and families that I have connected with over the past couple of years. Still, we do need your support to be able to hit the road...
Every person donating $50 will receive a gift. With a donation of $50 you will receive a postcard and Pan-American tour stickers. A donation of $100 will get you a photo, a limited edition postcard and Pan-American tour stickers. Donors giving $500 will receive a limited edition autographed photo, (Until The Wheels Fall Off Tour T-shirt) and a custom postcard.
