Welcome to the Dare To Know fundraising page!
If this is the first time you've heard of Dare to Know you may be wondering what this endeavor is all about.
Simply put, Dare To Know is a recurring series of lighthearted, engaging classes for people who long to know what the Catholic Church really teaches so that they can be better parents, better spouses, and better citizens.
Dare To Know is more than just a class, though. It’s an encounter.
With this in mind, we have arranged for each Dare To Know presentation to be followed by plenty of social time (food and beverage included) to build relationships with other Catholics, ask follow-up questions, and explore how the material presented relates to your life and unique set of circumstances.
We would love for you to join us as we embark upon building deeper living relationships with one another, and, most of all, with God.
The first series of classes will be held in the Charleston, SC area starting in November 2015 (with more locations to be added soon). Those of you who don’t live in the area will have the opportunity to join us from afar, though, by visiting DareToKnowCommunity.com. In the future we will make available audio of the presentations, a forum in which to ask questions, and the opportunity to meet other people who are seeking a stronger relationship with God just like you are.
Presenter Dan Lord (in partnership with his wife, Hallie) has the encouragement of Bishop Robert Guglielmone, of local pastors, and of friends and fellow Christians everywhere. We are extremely excited to finally be bringing this project to fruition!
How can you help?
1. First and foremost, please pray for the success of Dare To Know. Once this program begins, we are confident that it is going to make a big difference in many people’s lives.
2. Become a benefactor. We are seeking financial support as we launch Dare To Know and make it the answer to the average person’s simple thirst for truth that we want it to be. Even if you only have one dollar that you can spare, we would be most grateful.
3. Join us! Our first 6-week series begins at a Mount Pleasant, SC parish on November 5th, 2015 (location TBA soon). You can register here .
4. Stay in touch. Sign up for our mailing list here to be kept abreast of new Dare to Know developments.
5. Share Dare to Know with your friends. At the heart of Dare to Know is a sense of community. That means that we need you, your friends, and your loved ones to join us as we endeavor to unite and strengthen the Body of Christ.
