DIY Vanagon Subaru Transmission Kit

Due to recent demand, I have updated the kit to be more complete and corrosion resistant.
Hello everyone,
My name is Ray Miller, an avid Volkswagen fanatic for quite a few years now. I'm getting older now and the days of bugs, type threes and split window busses are gone. So I finally had to take the leap and purchase a Vanagon to continue my obsession. During this last years summer road trip with my family, the volkswagen 4 speed transmission decided to stop cooperating. The Volkswagen transmission can be costly to repair and/or be rebuilt. I was made aware that a reverse gear set could be had from a company Subarugears.com that would allow a Subaru5 speed transmission to be installed in a Vanagon, a modern lightweight 5 speed with overdrive. That is why I'm here today making this post. I'm trying to gather the funds to do a limited run of DIY "kits" to connect your Vanagon shifter to Subaru transmission. I need at least 10 people with a donation of $295 plus shipping to your location at shipment date.

-*waterjet cut bushing mount plates
-*tool kit includes drill bits and allen keys
-*all brackets powder coated
-universal joint
-front shifter cup
-delrin ball
-tool steel pin
-travel limiting hardware
-reducer sleeve's
-professionally waterjet cut plates to retain front bushing
-complete instructions and templates to modify existing shift linkage .
My reward is to get a few more Vanagon's back on the road and down the highways with our families...maybe a little faster.
