Eli and the Figure Eight Movie Fund
This dream/project is for the purpose of allowing and helping me to have my book, Eli and the Figure Eight, made into a feature film. I am a newbie at this, and this is an end-of-my-lifetime dream for me. But it is not a dream for myself alone. It is a dream I dream on behalf of all humanity.
It is a dream that would, I trust, enable millions of young people to be lifted up and out of a shallow, material existence, of lives wasted in isolation behind the electronic screens of their cell phones and their video games. (Please also read the material written on the back cover pic of my book, below)
It is a dream which, when manifested, could give purpose to young lives now spent merely consuming --and BEING consumed by--a heartless world mind system. It is no less than the dream of LOVE being shared and realized by all who walk the earth. It is a dream not only for children--but for the little child in each of us.
But I know little of the ins and outs of movie production or how to go about getting my work developed and in the right producer's hands. What I do know, from my research, has proven to be rather daunting and beyond my ability to accomplish with the physical and financial resources at hand. I'm not much of a hand at promoting things. But I can write and am a person of vision.
Because of certain physical limitations, I have not been able to get out and promote my book as I'd like, and will not be able to go to Hollywood to do what's needed to get this into the hands of a willing producer. My book hasn't sold well up till now because I have not had the resources to promote it. But every review on Amazon.com has been a five star review!
So I have searched out professional firms that will that do this groundwork for an author and guide the author carefully through the process in a detailed manner to get the work into the hands of interested producers that will do it justice. But, of course, such firms charge a fee for this. And the better firms, the ones that have launched the MOST successful projects for authors who want to make their books into movies, charge the heftier fees.
So that is why I'm asking for donations to help me make my WONDERFUL book into a movie, as well as to help me promote my book, as I have special needs when it comes to getting about. I truly believe that Eli and the Figure Eight, as a book, and especially as a feature film, can and will change many lives and make the world a better place. PLUS it has the potential to be very entertaining as well as uplifting and inspiring.
Will you please help this grandmother make a visionary dream come to life? If you do, I truly believe you will fin you have have contributed to a truly life-changing and world-renewing event of significance! Thank you for your time.
