Times Are Ruff

I have a 10 month old lab mix that is the best dog in the world.  I might be biased in stating that, but she means more to me than anything.  Those of you who have had the pleasure of meeting her know she's a fun loving dog who is nothing more than a man's best friend.  The details that are to follow are less than savorry and I apologize in advance for being so blunt.  As of 2AM Friday morning shadow began to vomit on multiple occasions.  As the day progressed, the vomiting continued and upon discussions with the local veterinarians, we decided to take her in to the union lake venterinary hospital.  At that time preliminary X-Rays were taken at which time we discovered a potential obstruction in the stomach.  At that time the doctor performed an subcutaneous injection of fluids to rehydrate the dog in hopes this would improve her stomach pains and overall health.  Throughout Friday night Shadow vomitted yet again at which time we decided it was neccessary to bring her back.  As of Saturday afternoon it was decided Shadow needed to go into surgery. They discovered a large piece of black cloth obstructing the GI tract which had to be removed. She was then moved to an overnight facility for observation and has found her way home Sunday. We were able to finance the operation, but need your help now more then ever. Shadow is now home, and will have a long road to recovery. In total we have to come up with $2,568.68 in addition to the $345.55 that was spent Friday evening.
