Debra Parson's Daycare Fund

My name is Joshua Ellerbe. Many of you may know me as Pastor Ellerbe. I am married to Debra Parsons Ellerbe and we live in Albemarle NC. However this fundraiser is not about me, but it is in an effort to help my wife's mother who had been diagnosed with rectal cancer the week of Thanksgiving in November of 2014. She had to spend her Thanksgiving in the hospital while test were being ran and all she could do was wait for the results. The purpose behind this fundraiser is to help her with ongoing expenses at her daycare center that she was prepared to open before having to start chemotherapy and radiation. Since her diagnosis came unexpectedly it put her in a unexpected place in her finances in preparation for her new business venture. She has spent well over $12,000 on the facility in maintenance and repairs. If she does not get any financial help while recovering from the surgery she recently had then she could lose all of her investments thus far. The goal we have set to raise is $10,000. The reason for this amount is because it will allot her more time to heal without worrying and returning to work too soon. She has applied for disability benefits but must go through a long waiting period before getting an answer. She is a mother of four and currently has a daughter that will be graduating this year. I pray that you can find it in your heart to be compassionate enough to give a donation. There is no such thing as a small amount and whatever you decide to give will be greatly appreciated by Ms. Parsons and her daughter.
