Help Emily Stay In University

Donation protected
Hello Everyone!

My name is Emily Davison I am 20 years of age, I like in London and I am currently in my final year of studying for a BA Honours Degree in English Literature at Goldsmiths University.

When I was born I was diagnosed with a condition known as Septo Optic Dysplasia it is a rare congenital condition which affecting part of the brain, my pituitary gland, my eye sight, and causing me to experience hypoglycemic attacks (low blood sugar.) I am registered as severely sight impaired and have no vison in my right eye and only 10 percent remaining in my left.

Despite this I have always remained determined to achieve my goals in life and help others see that disability is not a barrier. In 2012 I qualified with my first Guide Dog (which you can see in the image above) by the name of Unity and I regularly write, blog and campaign on all things disability and have done charity work for charities such as the RNIB, Guide Dogs and Blind Children UK. I have written for many publications including the Huffington Post UK and the Guardian, promoting sight loss and disability awarness.

But now I am calling on you for your help, my dream is to continue my studies and to obtain a Masters Degree in Children's Literature. I have been accepted to study my Masters Degree at my current University, however if I do not receive the funds to finance my studies my fear is that this dream will not become a reality.

Being disabled I of course have my good days and bad days and thus I have found it difficult to work in order to source the funds in order to be able to study.

So, I would be eternally grateful to you if you could find it in you to give a small donation to help me achieve my goals in life. Even if you are only able to share this page so that others can see it any kind of support you are able to give me would mean the absolute world to me.

Please help me to stay in University, so that one day I will be able to write books for children and campaign with charities to raise awareness of diversity to our future children so that we can help build a better and more kinder world.

Thanking you very kindly for your support!
