Send the Knights to Nationals

I am the proud parent of one of the 14 girls who won the Florida President’s Cup Soccer Finals the weekend of April 11th and now the Fort Myers Knights are headed to Lafayette Louisiana for the Region III Finals June 5th thru the 7th.  When we win that we head to the Nationals in Overland Park, Kansas July 9th thru the 12th.

 

These girls have worked so hard to be in the position they are in and have learned so much, not just about soccer but about teamwork and how being unselfish leads to victory.  What we need now are the funds to help them continue their trek.  We understand and accept the financial responsibilities we have as parents but there is so much involved in getting a team of 14 to 16 girls to a tournament over 800 miles away.  The money we are able to raise will go to JUST the girls for travel, room and board, as parents and family members we are on our own.
