I GOT THIS! Lindsay Zuelke

Just a little about me, I love being outside, playing volleyball and softball, hunting, comedy shows, hanging out with family and friends, working out, and also relaxing. I love making people laugh, telling my crazy stories, and I'm pretty outgoing. I work at the Steven's point post office as a city carrier. While working I meet my awesome very supportive husband Nate Zuelke. We have been married for 3 years now and have two beautiful amazing children. Danica is almost 2 1/2 years old and Easton is 7 months old. I love watching them grow and learn so much so fast.

About 3 weeks ago Feb 15 I was having a lot of sinus problems. I finally went in, had an abnormal x Ray (said it was an inflamed sinus) diagnosed me with sinusitis. About ten days later I could hardly take the pain but knew I had a follow up appointment on Monday and waited.

Monday changed my life forever.

This lump had grown so big so fast it was scary. It caused a lot of jaw pain, headaches, ear ache, and minor eye functionally loss. The allergist was unsure of what this lump in my cheek actually was and sent me up to ear, nose, and throat. The doctor had me do a ct scan and with those results was immediately concerned about cancer. Took a biopsy and an mri. That determined it was cancer called Rhabdomyosarcoma. On Friday March 6 I had to have surgery to remove more of the tumor to get the exact type. This is a very rare cancer mostly found in children which is also rare. They are sending me to uw Madison hospital March 12 to get a second option.
I started chemo March 13. The tumor hasn't responded so Marshfield is running out if options. We are now going through Mayo, mn. I start radiation April 20 for 6 weeks there and will continue chemo for the next year.

I most likely won't be working for the next year due to the chemo I need to be hospitalized for 5 days every other week to drip in slowly. As of now I'm having a hard time finding any kind of short term disability either.

Anything will help! Thanks!
