Hi, all. Thanks for taking a moment to click links and read this. I've created this gofundme in hopes of getting financial support from my friends, family, and community.
Okay, so here's the sitch, in order to qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics athletes have to compete in this league for points called the Karate 1 Premier League . The Premier League consists of two types of tournaments: Premier and Series A. Premier tournaments are worth more points than Series A, it's based on competition attendance and other factors. The purpose is to accumualte points for the next three years and finish in the top 10. The top 10 athletes from each division will qualify to compete in the Olympics.
Here is the list of of Premier and Series A competitions:
Paris , Holland, Dubai, Morocco, Turkey, Spain, Germany, Austria, and Okinawa
Unfortunately, funding is not provided for US Athletes to compete in the Karate 1 Premier League. But with your help I CAN!
This is a pretty awkward topic. I'm sitting at my computer asking you to open up your wallet and give me your hard-earned cash for a literal dream. It's like you're trying to buy a unicorn on Craigslist. I don't want you to think that I'm sitting around hoping for the best. I work full-time at a great company called Blue-White Industries . No one really knows what I do there because I'm gone half the time for training and competitions. I don't get paid when I'm not there, but their healthcare package pretty much keeps me alive and in one piece. I also run a dojo with the help of some super-human folks. We're a great team and everyday we make our community that much better.
Yes, I'm busy. But I stay on track with a schedule, and I had so much fun in college that I no longer feel the need to socialize. My best friends include Netflix, memory foam, a dog with the cutest tushy, and self-inflicted bruises that I give fun names.
I'm dedicated to this. Let's buy this unicorn.
