Kristina's Car Fund

My cousin Kristina is in a bind.  Due to someone with a nasty grudge and very few scruples, her babies got taken away from her by the state. She's been working hard and doing everything possible to get them back, and has a court date in just under a month.
Complicating an already sheisty situation, her car blew a head gasket, and the repairs will cost roughly 2500, assuming that nothing else needs fixing. Kristina's been scrimping and saving all she can in the month since her car broke. Walking everywhere when she can and begging rides when she can't, fighting public transportation, and just doesn't seem to be getting ahead. And as if that wasn't enough, to add just a bit more on top of the pie, it's looking like she's going to lose her job if the car doesn't get fixed soon. I'm sure it goes without explanation that without a job, they're not going to give her kids back, so I'm putting this together in hopes of getting her a little bit of help.  Just enough to get her car fixed, give her a fighting chance for the kids.
