Free 3D printed prosthetic hands

Donation protected
First, let me thank you for visiting.

Our Engineering & Robotics club is BACK and has partnered with e-NABLE!  As part of the e-NABLE movement, our robotics club is creating free 3D printed prosthetics for those in need.

We hope to help children in our community, wounded veterans as well as those in need from around the world.

Who We Are:

We are the Somerset County Vo-Tech Engineering & Robotics Club, located in Bridgewater, New Jersey.

What We Do...
Our club is here to serve our community by working to 3D print and assemble prosthetic limbs for no cost to those in need. We are trying to spread awareness for the presence of an e-NABLE group in the community to help as many people possible.

Our Club Objectives...

Enable those in need by providing custom, high quality 3D printed prosthetics… free of charge.

Empower our students to use their creative, engineering and technical skills to create positive change in their own lives as well as in their community.

Inspire an interest within our students and community in the STEAM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math).

Foster empathy in our students and show them that they can make a difference.

Prepare our students for success in STEAM careers by creating industry-relevant learning experiences.

Assure that our students graduate with the skills necessary to enter the workforce and as well as to continue their education.

What We Ask of Our Donors:

Each hand costs us approximately US$75 in materials to manufacture; therefore, we graciously ask for donations to cover materials (3D printer filament, screws and fasteners, etc.)  While we are very fortunate to have access to a 3D printer, we hope to save a portion of your donation for a 3D printer of our own.

Our Pledge to You:

100% of your donation will be spent in manufacturing the prosthetic hands.  We won’t spend it on pizza, t-shirts, travel costs or even bake sales!  100% will be spent directly on materials for making the hands as well as a portion being saved for our own 3D printer.

Spread the Word!

We have zero advertising budget and are depending solely on social media and word of mouth.  So please spread the word!

About e-NABLE

http://enablingthefuture.org/about/

http://www.enablecommunityfoundation.org/

The e-NABLE Community is an amazing group of individuals from all over the world who are using their 3D printers to create free 3D printed hands and arms for those in need of an upper limb assistive device.

They are people who have put aside their political, religious, cultural and personal differences – to come together and collaborate on ways to help improve the open source 3D printable designs for hands and arms for those who were born missing fingers or who have lost them due to war, disease or natural disaster.

The e-NABLE Community is made up of  teachers, students, engineers, scientists, medical professionals, tinkerers, designers, parents, children, scout troops, artists, philanthropists, dreamers, coders, makers and every day people who just want to make a difference and help to “Give The World A Helping Hand.”
