Alberto Orozco's Dialysis Fund

Hi everyone! We are the Rho Beta Chapter of Delta Kappa Epsilon here at the University of Richmond in Richmond, Virginia.
Unfortunately, one of our own, Alberto Orozco of Round Lake, Illinois, was recently diagnosed with Focal Segmental Glomerulosclorosis (FSGS).
For those of who are unfamiliar with the disease, FSGS is a kidney disease that affects about 5,400 people per year, and probably even more due to lack of awareness and diagnosis.
However, out of these 5,400 new patients each year suffering from FSGS, only about 1,000 receive a kidney transplant. Leaving the vast majority of patients on the waitlist or to seek other treatment options, such as dialysis.
Currently Alberto is receiving treatment in the form of Peritoneal Dialysis four times a day, seven days a week. Alberto comes from a family of hard working, good people. Mr. Orozco works as a machine operator in a factory in Illinois, and Mrs. Orozco is a nurse assistant at a hospital near their home.
Unfortunately, the Orozco's have been handed the extremely difficult task of funding the dialysis treatment for Alberto and the medical bills for his brother, Miguel, who suffers from IgA Nephropathy - also known as Berger's Disease - and has already had a kidney transplant. The medical bills have begun to pile up, and we, his brothers, have decided to take action to ease the financial pressure on the Orozco's and to do anything we can to make sure they have what they need while they undertake this massive responsibility.
We would greatly appreciate any support you can give to our cause and to the Orozco family, whether it be a monetary donation or spreading the word about Alberto's story or FSGS in general. Meeting our goal of $10,000 would mean the world to the Orozco family.
