Surgery expenses for a HORSE HERO!

Donation protected
His name is Pendragon. He is our Gypsy Stallion that has been one of the staples on The Long Trail Home. Sunday night he presented with colic. Monday morning he was transported to San Luis Ray Equine Hospital and immediately prepped for surgery. The vet found and impaction. And removed 16 feet of intestine. Pen will continue to be on fluids and when he is able food will be slowly introduced. Projected rehabilitation timeline is a 14 day hospitalization following his surgery. He will then be taken to another rehab facility until he is stable enough to be transported home. As soon as he is ready he will go to the pacific to put his feet in the water and then head home.

He has made history with The Long Trail Home and has brought awareness to veterans suicide, right along with his owners Kirsten and Matt Littrell.

We have already raised some money from the help of donations coming in, but we wanted to keep this fund seperated from the others.  However, any money that does not go towards the care of Pen, will also be turned over to The Semper Fi Fund!
