Saving My Grandfather's Barn

I am trying to save a part of my families history and get
started in my own farming business.
My Grandfather was the son of Irish immigrants who's
American Dream was to farm. He settled in Iowa and raised his family. While growing up my Dad told his kids stories of his Dad (my Grandfather) building his barn and raising a few cows among other animals. That barn was bought and moved a number of years ago to a farm on the other side of the section. Recentlly most of that building site has been buried. Grandpa's barn is still there but the owners want it gone. I would like to buy and move the old barn to my 8 acres, set it up on a new foundation and use as a shop to sell vegetables and fruit from.
My Dad passed away in 2016 and left me his 8 acres of land. Since farming has been in my family for generations, I'd like to keep a part of my Grandfathers legacy alive by bringing his magnificient barn back into use and back into the family it started with.
I feel it would be a fitting resting place for the barn and it would continue to be used in a family farming bussiness. This barn has a lot of history and brings back many memories for me, my brothers,sisters and cousins that grew up here. I think my Grampa and Dad would be proud to know I saved this beloved icon of the American Farmer.
I would like to move the barn in March of 2017. Saving this barn would mean everything to me, and I would appreciate any help I can get to make it happen. Thank you for reading my story.
