Dharma Squad Save the Skate Park!

We are Dharma Squad Industries.
We are a new business venture created by a group of friends to enrich the youth of our local michigan communities through action sports, art, and knowledge of self empowerment.
We aim to make our community stronger through connecting, networking and raising funds for special events and different community projects.
One of our current goals includes a revamping of our local skate park.
After we heard the City of Gaylord intended to auction off the skate park for far less than what its worth, let alone community value to the skaters, we got together and requested ownership of the parks equeipment.
It is important to our youth to have some place safe to go to and skate.
We stood up against bids from neighboring towns who intended to take our cities skate equipmentand the city councel voted in favor of Dharma Squad Industries taking the equipment and relocating it to a new location.
We have disassembled the park by hand, bolt by bolt, and hauled it to our storage facility where they will be re-worked.
We have a lot of work ahead of us, we have the new parks lcoation picked out, but we need to sand, paint and repair all the ramps and equipment including pouring a new cement slab.
The cement slab is our current biggest obstical. The dimensions of the slab needed are 80'x120'.
Through new connections and donations we have raised enough and lowered the full cost of the cement slab to anywhere between $5,000-,$7,000. We are really happy with these new developments and it means our dreams are becoming more and more a reality.
Our other vehicles of contribution and donations have brought us much closer to this goal currently that is not reflected in our go fund me.
We still need all your love and support! And love all the support we have received so far!
We are doing all the ramp refinishing by hand in hopes to keep costs down.
We have big plans for the park to make a safe and fun environment for anyone at anytime of the day.
