Hunter's Memorial fund

Hunter was my graduation present from high school. He was two when I got him, I was so happy to get him I spent the whole trip home hugging him and crying tears of love. He has been my best friend for 14 years. Hunter loves to go to the dog park, camping, playing at the beach, car rides, snacks, spending time with his cat Pirate.   He has been the light of my life and has been there for me through thick and thin.  

We were hit by an uninsured  drunk driver 12/23/14 and he has had complications because of that.  I've also had complications and due to the time I've taken off work for my doctor's appointments I've wiped out my savings.  He was starting to get better but today he had to go back to the vet and this might be it for him.  I will still need to pay for the vet at time of service and rent is also due.  Now I need to make the choice of rent or pay the vet bill.  If it were just me I would gladly give up my rent to give to my dogs vet.  However I'm my sister's caregiver and I can't make dicisions like that because its her house too.  

That is why I thought I would set up a gofundme page.  I know that there are a lot of people who have been in this situation with a pet and might be willing to help.  Every little bit helps and I really apprciate what you are willing to do for my family.  I also am a Mary Kay consultant and my profit will be going to his vet bill and rent.  www.marykay.com/alexisklein

Unfortunately the vet did everything he could but Hunter didn't make it.  I still need to pay back my friend who helped me with the cost of the Euthenasia when my card got declined and pay rent to keep the roof over me and my sister's head.  Pirate my cat has been beside himself when his friend didn't come  home last night.  It was a really hard day for all of us.
