Save the Society

Heavy rains flooded Society for Disabled Children's building making it impossible to use.    A wall of dirt along the back of the building from freeway construction blocked water from draining during the rain storms instead pushing it into the building.   The dirt wall has since been removed but the damage to the building is extensive.  The Society for Disabled Children is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that has served disabled children and their families in Kern County for almost 70 years.
