Save Purlie Victorious

Good day everyone at go fund me. Com I like to thank you for checking out this important fundraising event. Purlie Victorious is a show written by the late great OssievDavis. This production first went up in the early 1960's. The play takes place in Georgia , during a time where share cropping was the number one business in America. Plantation owners controled the land and controled the people but Purlie Victorious had a wonderful plan, he wanted to buy back his family's church. but in order for him to do that he had to bypass the meanest man in the county old man C aptain Cotchipee a man that owned the land and used to own people. This legendary show starred Ruby Dee and Ossie Davis. my goal as director and producer is to raise $3000 for costumes, props ,set pieces ,rights for the show, as well as rehearsal space . I'm looking for all sorts of supporters family, friends, theater lovers ,people who just want to support a terrific production. Purlie victorious will be held in Brooklyn from July 24th to August 2nd.
