Help Mireu Attend Natl Tournaments

Mireu Martial Arts (formerly Kang’s Martial Arts) in Coralville is bringing a Demo Team to Hanmadang in Colorado and sending qualifying individuals to the USAT National Tournament in Austin Texas. However, many in the studio, including Master Matthews, need financial help to be able to afford these trips.
Master Matthews – a rare female owner of a Taekwondo studio, is a fifth Dan black belt, receiving her last two Dans after treatment for cancer, now in remission. Her personal strength is an inspiration to everyone around her. She keeps rates very low so that as many students as possible can benefit from Taekwondo. She has brought together a diverse community of students. Her studio teaches Taekwondo, Kum Do and Hapkido. She has joined other studios to create MUSA, a regional organization that will work to ensure more studios are created in Eastern Iowa.
The Demo Team has been working hard, and many talented students have qualified for the Austin National Tournament.
