...restoring life to the Haitian Plateau
Samuel Schäfer met Manis in 2007 and in 2012 moved to Haiti to work under Manis’s vision to develop the Northwest of Haiti. Samuel's desire is to see Manis’s vision spread.
In 2013 Samuel purchased land that has been ravished from years of erosion and it is with this land that Samuel is inviting others to help make Manis' vision spread to the Northwest of Haiti and bring back HOPE to this area.
Small Cistern & Depot
How do you water 1,000 plus trees? This is the problem and one main reason no one plants trees. After the struggle to get water for drinking, cooking and bathing there is little energy left to get more water for a TREE.
SO…this is where we need YOUR HELP. We want to start with a small cistern and a depot for storage on the land. Rains have decreased and we want to see these trees LIVE!
