Replacement Printer for cShoresal

Donation protected

Oh no! Every piece of equipment I use is critical to the process. Camera, editing & layout software, dyes, transfer paper, dye printer, substrates, and press must all be humming along to keep cShoresal's beautiful photo gifts happening.

Well, one of these critical pieces, the dye sublimation printer,  has given up.

:-(  I've been unable to print for two weeks. After working diligently with a fantastic tech support team to troubleshoot from all possible angles, I know more about how dye-sub printers work and how to maintain its inner workings than I ever expected to. And I know that this one is broken and can no longer do the job.

The replacement printer, paper feed, inks, shipping and tax are almost $3500 all together. Every penny of my available funds has gone to getting cShoresal restarted after a year's haitus. I've invested in inventory, dyes, transfer paper, materials and other supplies, and getting the website  up and running (though it too needs work).

However, I have not yet begun to generate an income from the new generation of panels I'm making.  Without a functioning printer, I am dead in the water with the cShoresal business. Will you help me get going again? $3500 is completely out of reach for me. Might as well be $35 million, as far as my ability to come up with the funds. But with the help of a crowd, it seems attainable. I really need to have something in place within a couple of weeks so I can start filling orders.  Any extra funds raised would go to additional materials and website so I can get these beautiful photo gifts and panels out into the world where they belong!

I'm at the crossroads. cShoresal needs to fly or be grounded. I have two part time bookkeeping jobs that I love, one for the non-profit foundation I-Park, which funds an artist-in-residence program and facilty in East Haddam. The other is for a favourite Old Saybrook family owned restaurant, Alforno. And next year will be, I believe, 25 years of tax preparation work for owner Peg Shepard at Old Saybrook's H&R Block office. With cShoresal's earning potential, I am able to cover my basic living expenses. Without it, I am not.  This creative business has been very satisfying for me. I know it also has been for my customers, especially the ones who love the custom items we've created together. Your support and assistance at any level is very much appreciated. I look forward to being able to give back to my supportive community when I get on my feet, beginning with fulfillment of the thank you gifts set for the reward levels. Thank you!
